Hanoi, the capital, pays homage to the nation’s iconic Communist-era leader, Ho Chi Minh, via a huge marble mausoleum. Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) has French colonial landmarks, plus Vietnamese War history museums and the Cu Chi tunnels, used by Viet Cong soldiers.

Itinerary

Arrive at Saigon. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, we will meet and transfer to city center for check-in & relax. Vibrating with energy, innovation and traffic – lots of traffic – Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, is the economic heart of Vietnam and the main hub of the southern region. A freewheeling, cosmopolitan metropolis, HCMC's dynamic cityscape draws together old and new Vietnam in the most compact of spaces, representing the city’s past as well as its future.

After breakfast, proceed to visit: Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon (outside) one of the oldest churches and the top famous attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, the cathedral's distinctive neo-Romanesque features include the all-red brick façadeOld Post Office A fantastic French Colonial architecture building having Roman arches and gilded glass windows. Reunification Palace a historical monument and having in itself the essence of Eastern culture. Throughout the heroic battles, this amazing work of architecture had witnessed almost every high and low of the Vietnamese war.Cu Chi Tunnels – a network of tunnels more than 200km long and 3 – 8 m deep, dug during the warfare days and is about 70km north west of the city, back to Ho Chi Minh.  
 

Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to Phnom Penh by shuttle bus (The bus will stop at 1 point for lunch (own expense). Our private car and guide will pick up from the bus station and transfer to the hotel check in. Afternoon, continue to Visit Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families live. it is like a small town of royal dynasties. Continue to Silver Pagoda, serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds.

Breakfast at hotel - visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Then Visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), the Market has gained reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic music instrument if time permits. Transfer to the bus station for your journey to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel check in.

After breakfast, visit to The South Gate of Angkor Thom: Bayob Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Continue visit to Ta Promh (the jungle temple. After lunch, visit to Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo: small, attractive temple in very good condition, built all the same time as Angkor Wat. Continue to Angkor Wat: The “7th Wonders’of the World”. World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Continue visit to Bakheng Hill: Sunset viewing on the top of the hill. Bakheng is the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area; this temple-mountain offers extraordinary views.

After breakfast, visit to Floating Village, take a ride by traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake to experience the human occupations at the edges of the lake is similarly distinctive – floating villages, towering stilled houses, huge fish traps, and an economy and way of life deeply intertwined with the lake, the fish, the wildlife and the cycles of rising and falling waters. Transfer to the airport for the flight departure.
